Our Story

Pastor Mark and Minister Char Sagapolutele began their ministry journey in Maui in 2004, serving in youth ministry under Pastors Josh & Shannon Marocco and in the Creative Ministry with Pastors Chris & Melissa Davis. In 2007, they founded Mana Toa, a Polynesian dance and music ministry that continues to flourish on Maui and Oahu, and has ministered across King’s campuses, including Dallas, Lebanon, Alaska, and throughout Hawaii.
In 2011, they relocated to King’s Dallas to lead the youth ministry and help establish the church alongside Pastors Chris & Melissa Davis and Pastors Bruno & Heather Frigoli. Returning to Hawaii in 2014, they served in various roles on Oahu—first as youth leaders in Niu Valley, then as campus pastors of King’s Windward for nine years.
In March 2025, they launched King’s Mililani. They are passionate about seeing lives transformed and helping others fulfill God’s call. They are proud parents of five children, with their three eldest actively involved in ministry.
